Blue and Gold Macaw walking stick Blue and Gold Macaw walking stick.
Made with real macaw feathers from my own macaw, and faux turquoise stones made from polymer clay.
Tall straight style.

This is an incredibly detailed, and unique walking staff. Very hard to photograph, look closely. I took shots all around this stick so you can see how the parrot wraps around the stick and will be visible from any direction.
Jungle leaves are also highly detailed.
My sticks are painted with high quality artist acrylic paints, then given a few coats of polyurethane to protect. All my sticks are fitted with a rubber foot, (removable.)

Below the smooth handle section is a band with three faux turquoise "stones."
These are also made by me using a mix of polymer clays.
(Granix, a few shades of turquoise and blue, mixed in with a touch of transparent and copper.) I have gotten pretty good at making this fake turquoise so it looks real.

Below that are two batches of actual macaw feathers from my own parrot. You can see a few pictures of him Here.
Each of the two bunches consist of one large and two smaller feathers all tightly bound together using waxed macrame string, then tied around the staff.

This stick is signed and dated, (very small, hard to notice.) It is a work of art.
